Terms and Conditions

Official Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By submitting an entry, applying for membership, or participating in the Infinity Music & Film Awards (“Infinity Awards”), you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, as well as all related rules, including the Code of Conduct and Voting Guidelines.

2. Eligibility

2.1 General Eligibility

To be eligible:

  • Submissions must fall within the official eligibility period set by the Infinity Awards 
  • Entries must be independently produced or released 
  • Submitters must have legal authority to submit the work 

2.2 Independent Status

A project qualifies as “independent” if it is produced, financed, or distributed outside of major studio or major label systems, as determined by the Infinity Awards समिति.

2.3 Category Placement

The Infinity Awards reserve the right to:

  • Reassign submissions to appropriate categories 
  • Combine or split categories 
  • Decline categories with insufficient entries 

3. Submissions

3.1 Accuracy

All information submitted must be:

  • Complete 
  • Accurate 
  • Truthful 

False or misleading submissions may result in disqualification.

3.2 Rights & Permissions

By submitting, you confirm that:

  • You own or control all necessary rights 
  • You have permission from all relevant parties 
  • The submission does not infringe on copyrights or trademarks 

3.3 Submission Materials

You grant the Infinity Awards the right to:

  • View and evaluate submitted materials 
  • Use excerpts, stills, clips, artwork, and names for promotional purposes 
  • Feature your work in marketing, social media, or awards-related content 

4. Voting & Nominations

4.1 Voting Process

Voting shall be conducted in accordance with official Voting Rules.

4.2 Final Decisions

All voting results are:

  • Final 
  • Determined by verified ballots 
  • Subject to audit and validation 

The Infinity Awards reserve the right to:

  • Verify ballots 
  • Invalidate votes that violate rules 

5. Conflict of Interest

Participants must disclose any conflicts of interest and abstain from voting in relevant categories.

Failure to disclose conflicts may result in:

  • Vote invalidation 
  • Disqualification 
  • Suspension of membership 

6. Disqualification

The Infinity Awards reserve the right to disqualify any submission, participant, or member for:

  • Ineligibility 
  • False or misleading information 
  • Violation of rules or Code of Conduct 
  • Fraudulent activity 
  • Copyright infringement 

Decisions regarding disqualification are final.

7. Awards & Recognition

  • Awards are granted based on voting results and eligibility compliance 
  • The Infinity Awards do not guarantee nominations or awards 
  • Awards may be withheld in cases where standards are not met 

8. Fees (If Applicable)

  • Submission fees, if charged, are non-refundable 
  • Membership fees, if applicable, are subject to published terms 
  • The Infinity Awards reserve the right to change fees in future cycles 

9. Liability

The Infinity Awards are not responsible for:

  • Technical issues with submissions or voting 
  • Loss or damage of submitted materials 
  • Errors in submitted information 
  • Third-party platform failures (streaming links, hosting services, etc.) 

Participation is at your own risk.

10. Media & Publicity Rights

By participating, you grant the Infinity Awards permission to:

  • Use your name, likeness, project title, and submitted materials 
  • Promote nominations, awards, and events 
  • Share content across media platforms 

No additional compensation will be provided for such use.

11. Confidentiality

  • Voting results remain confidential until officially announced 
  • Participants may not disclose internal information 
  • Unauthorized disclosure may result in penalties 

12. Code of Conduct

All participants must comply with the Infinity Awards Code of Conduct.

Violations may result in:

  • Disqualification 
  • Removal of membership 
  • Ban from future participation 

13. Amendments

The Infinity Awards reserve the right to:

  • Modify these Terms & Conditions 
  • Update eligibility or rules 

Changes will be communicated prior to major deadlines where possible.

14. Governing Authority

All decisions made by the Infinity Awards organizing committee are final and binding.

15. Acceptance

By submitting, applying, or voting, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions 
  • Agree to abide by all rules and policies 
  • Accept all decisions made by the Infinity Awards 

16. Refund Policy

16.1 General Policy

All payments made to the Infinity Music & Film Awards are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

16.2 Membership Fees

  • All membership fees are non-refundable 
  • Memberships are non-transferable 
  • No refunds will be issued for: 
    • Unused membership periods 
    • Failure to participate in voting 
    • Removal or suspension due to rule violations
       

Official Code of Conduct

 

1. Purpose

The Infinity Music & Film Awards are committed to recognizing excellence in independent film and music through a process that is fair, respectful, transparent, and free from bias or misconduct.

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards expected of all:

  • Members
  • Voters
  • Nominees
  • Submitters
  • Staff and partners

2. Core Principles

All participants must uphold the following values:

  • Integrity – Act honestly and ethically at all times
  • Fairness – Respect the voting process and outcomes
  • Respect – Treat all participants professionally and without discrimination
  • Independence – Support creative freedom and unbiased evaluation
  • Accountability – Take responsibility for actions and decisions

3. Professional Conduct

All participants agree to:

  • Act with professionalism in all communications and interactions
  • Respect differing opinions, artistic styles, and creative choices
  • Avoid defamatory, harmful, or misleading statements about others
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment

4. Anti-Discrimination & Harassment Policy

The Infinity Awards have zero tolerance for:

  • Discrimination based on race, gender, identity, sexuality, nationality, religion, disability, or background
  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying
  • Hate speech or abusive conduct

Any violation may result in immediate disqualification or removal from membership.

5. Voting Integrity

All voters must:

  • Vote honestly based on merit and personal evaluation
  • Avoid bias, favoritism, or external influence
  • Only vote in categories where they are eligible
  • Respect confidentiality of all ballots

Prohibited behavior:

  • Vote trading (“I vote for you if you vote for me”)
  • Coordinated voting blocs or manipulation
  • Voting without reviewing the work
  • Sharing or publicizing voting choices

6. Conflict of Interest

Participants must disclose and avoid conflicts of interest.

A conflict exists if a member:

  • Is nominated in a category
  • Worked on a nominated project
  • Has a financial or personal stake in a nominee

Requirement:

  • Members must abstain from voting in conflicted categories

Failure to disclose conflicts may result in:

  • Vote invalidation
  • Membership suspension

7. Campaigning & Promotion

Promotion is allowed within reasonable limits, but must remain ethical.

Acceptable:

  • Sharing trailers, music, or promotional content
  • Informing voters about your work

Prohibited:

  • Offering incentives, gifts, or compensation for votes
  • Harassment or repeated unsolicited outreach to voters
  • Misrepresentation of eligibility, credits, or achievements
  • False or misleading advertising

8. Submission Integrity

All submissions must:

  • Be truthful and accurate
  • Be submitted by authorized individuals
  • Meet eligibility criteria
  • Respect copyright and ownership rights

Prohibited:

  • Submitting work without permission
  • Providing false credits or misleading information
  • Duplicate or fraudulent submissions

9. Confidentiality

Participants must respect confidentiality regarding:

  • Voting results prior to official announcement
  • Internal discussions or deliberations
  • Personal data of members or nominees

Unauthorized disclosure may result in disciplinary action.

10. Social Media & Public Conduct

Participants represent the integrity of the awards publicly.

All participants must:

  • Avoid harmful or inflammatory public statements
  • Not engage in public attacks against nominees, members, or the organization
  • Refrain from spreading misinformation about the awards process

11. Enforcement & Violations

Violations of this Code may result in:

  • Warning
  • Disqualification of submission
  • Removal of nomination
  • Vote invalidation
  • Suspension or termination of membership
  • Ban from future participation

Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warning.

12. Reporting Violations

Participants are encouraged to report misconduct.

Reports may include:

  • Voting manipulation
  • Harassment
  • Fraud or misrepresentation

All reports will be:

  • Reviewed confidentially
  • Investigated fairly
  • Resolved by the Infinity Awards committee

13. Amendments

The Infinity Awards reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct as needed. All participants will be notified of significant changes.

14. Agreement

All participants must agree to this Code of Conduct as a condition of:

  • Membership
  • Submission
  • Voting participation

  • Privacy Policy
  • Terms and Conditions
